Turner Little has entered a sponsorship deal with a York-based youth Rugby team, as they prepare to kick off the new season in style with new kit.
Giving back
Turner Little provides financial and business services, as well as advice, to clients throughout the York region and beyond. We like to give back to the local community that’s been so good to Turner Little whenever we can.
Our director James Turner, 39, is a keen rugby fan. His passion for the game has made Turner Little a long-time proud supporter of Pocklington Children’s Rugby. We’ve been involved with the Pocklington RUFC Under-9s team for the past three years, providing them with the financial support they need to do their best on the field.
2015/2016 sponsorship
We’re extremely pleased to announce that Turner Little will sponsor the Pocklington RUFC Under-9s team through the 2015/2016 season. Turner Little has provided the side with the funds they need to pay for this year’s new kit, branded balls and match balls.
As ever, James is leading by example. He’s always been a regular at the Under 9s’ fundraising matches and he plans to continue attending throughout the 2015/2016 season. Turner Little’s director is also planning to devote more of his time, as he will use his talent for the game to coach the under 9s (hopefully to victory!) this season.
Delighted to offer support
James Turner spoke out on the sponsorship deal. He said: “As a rugby fan and keen player, myself and the team at Turner Little Ltd have a long history of playing and supporting local rugby so we are delighted to have been able to be able to offer financial help again this year.”
The Turner Little director went on to comment: “It’s great seeing how well young people respond to the sport – and how much enjoyment they take from it. We hope it’s an association that will continue into the future.”
